Youth- The Days of Questioning Everything

As the national youth day is just around the corner which celebrates the power of youth in nation’s progress. Youth is the time in our lives when we are full of energy and can do absolutely any work without hesitation. Youth question everything from science to politics, from ideologies to religion and find there own way of life. The concept of celebrating national youth day comes from a great Indian monk who was born on this day swami Vivekananda who himself was young when his life impacted the world and he impacted the world’s greatest religious leader by giving a mesmerizing speech on the world religion congress in Chicago.

Another story of a youth comes from the ancient Indian text of a boy named Nachiketa who was so determined to find the answers of life and universe that he went to encounter death himself and made him teach the secrets of life and universe to him. This determination and energetic nature to find answers has inspired many men through the ages also swami Vivekananda as he famously once told “give me 10 boys like Nachiketa and I shall bring positive changes to this country”- explaining how only a mere 10 determined individuals can do the seemingly impossible task.

This is the youth the powerhouse if directed in a positive direction can do impossible tasks like making death himself a teacher and in the opposite case may lead to self destruction and nothing else. Ponder the question what the above mentioned youth have done in there lives so that today they find a mention in this blog and all over world ? and why can’t we be the next to find our names taken by the world as an inspiration…
